Over the past few years, organisations worldwide have faced an unprecedented challenge—the global pandemic. The world came to a standstill as businesses, both big and small, grappled with uncertainty, economic turmoil, and the need to adapt to new norms.is their first time sponsoring the event, and we are grateful for their support. 

Embracing Change for Survival:

When the pandemic hit, GBT was on the brink of launching its 2020 tour. The excitement was palpable. Golf and business events were lined up, and our community of like-minded individuals was growing steadily. But, like everyone else, we were forced to hit the pause button as COVID-19 disrupted life as we knew it.

Adapting to New Norms:

With a deep commitment to our members and a shared passion for golf and business, we quickly shifted gears. We implemented stringent safety measures, including temperature checks, mask mandates, and social distancing, to ensure the well-being of our participants.

Relocating the Finals:

Despite the challenges, we remained steadfast in our determination to provide business owners and managers with a platform for networking, camaraderie, and competition. This led to a pivotal decision—relocating the tour finals from abroad to the UK. It was a choice driven by the need to adapt, to ensure safety, and to keep our community engaged.

Despite Keeping the Momentum Alive:

While the pandemic brought about countless hardships, we recognised that it also presented an opportunity—the chance to offer support, positivity, and something to look forward to in challenging times.the challenges, we remained steadfast in our determination to provide business owners and managers with a platform for networking, camaraderie, and competition. 

Community Building:

Throughout the pandemic, our community continued to grow, offering support and a sense of belonging when it was needed most. We provided a platform for our members to connect, share experiences, and offer support to one another.

Preparing for 2024:

As we look ahead, we are excited about what the future holds for GBT. The lessons we’ve learned from navigating through turbulent waters have prepared us for an even brighter and more engaging 2024 tour.
