However, the day wasn’t without its share of drama. During the round, Steve Critchley found himself dangerously close to the water hazard. In a moment of true camaraderie, Danny Woods came to the rescue, preventing a potential watery mishap.

Le Golf National in Paris is a world-renowned golf course that has hosted prestigious tournaments including the Ryder Cup. It is located in Guyancourt, just outside Paris, and is known for its stunning championship layout.

The golf course is meticulously designed, featuring challenging fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and beautiful water hazards. The course offers a mix of wide and narrow fairways, which require precision and strategic shot-making. The undulating greens add an additional layer of difficulty to the game.

Le Golf National is not only known for its challenging course, but also for its state-of-the-art facilities. The clubhouse provides a modern and comfortable setting for golfers to relax and socialize after their rounds. Additionally, the practice facilities are top-notch, including a driving range, putting greens, and a short game area.

As per GBT tradition, the tee-off order reflected the Order of Merit standings. Steve Critchley set the tone with a powerful, straight drive down the middle. Steve Edmonds followed suit with an excellent drive, and Jon Anderson showcased his precision with another stellar shot.
