Welcome to the results page for the GBT2024 Whittington Heath! Our fourth stop on the tour brought us to the picturesque Whittington Heath Golf Club in Litchfield, and what a day it was!

The atmosphere was electric, the weather was on our side, and the competition was fierce – our visit to Whittington Heath Golf Club will go down in GBT history! Nestled in Lichfield, this gem of a course greeted us with its impeccable grounds, state-of-the-art facilities, and warm hospitality. It’s no wonder Whittington Heath boasts one of the best clubhouses in the UK!

Despite the challenging weather conditions leading up to the event, the ground staff’s dedication shone through, ensuring the course remained in top-notch condition. The newly designed holes proved to be a hit among players, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game.

And let’s talk about the food – simply unbelievable! The first-class service and welcoming members truly made our experience unforgettable. Whittington Heath Golf Club, you deserve all five stars!

But the spotlight of the day was undoubtedly on Warren Hamlin of Johnsons 1871, who made history by becoming the first guest winner from the previous event to triumph as a member in the next. Warren’s outstanding performance, scoring an impressive 42 points, has sparked talks of a handicap revision by none other than Mark Brown, GBT’s MD and Secretary of Handicaps. Can Warren make it three in a row? Only time will tell!

GBT Founder, Tim Roberts, who had the pleasure of playing alongside Warren, couldn’t help but praise his skillful chipping and ability to handle the banter with ease. With such talent on the course, the excitement for the next event is palpable!

Let’s not forget our nearest-to-the-hole champions: Phillip Palmer’s superb six-iron shot on the 4th came tantalizingly close to a hole-in-one, adding an extra thrill to an already exhilarating day.

As captured in the GBT2024 Result Whittington Heath Video, the GBT sunshine made a glorious appearance.

As we bask in the glory of Whittington Heath, it’s time to look ahead to our next adventure at GBT2024 Huddersfield Golf Club on May 16th, 2024. And stay tuned – the announcement of our grand final is just around the corner!
