Following Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealing the roadmap for Britain’s exit from lockdown, it was announced that golf courses would reopen on 29 March. There will obviously be strict guidelines in place to ensure everyone plays safely, but we’re sure everyone will be polishing their clubs in preparation.
The team here at GBT have been speaking to all the golf clubs on our 2021 Tour who are working hard to ensure their courses are ready for opening and are as safe as can be for all visitors and players. While each club will need to adapt its procedures to ensure compliance with government restrictions, they all want to ensure golfers play safely and enjoy their golf.
With the vaccination programme going well, and people adhering to guidelines and procedures, we can finally look forward to getting back to the fairways and greens soon.
