Sandiway Golf Club Results – 18th April 2023

For our third event of the GBT 2023 season we visited Sandiway Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and congrats to the winners!

Yet again, we were blessed with the GBT sunshine and another awesome course.
Right from the off, the first tee provided a great opening shot to test everyone’s abilities, as well as giving a taste of the intricacies of the course.
Sweeping down the cheshire countryside, the first hole had three bunkers within range and a plateau green to finish… And that was just the beginning… (80% of tee shots found the 1st fairway, so well done chaps.)
Sandiway has some stunning golf holes. And, considering the rain we’ve had over the past month, the course was in great condition. It says a lot about how a course drains, when they were watering the 8th green before our first group came through. Wow!
Sandiway has become one of our favourite courses on the GBT tour. I am sure we will be returning again next year.
All in all, everyone had a great day of tournament golf and networking opportunities.

- Highest score 40pts
- Lowest score 12pts
- Average 28.5pts
- 10 players from 36 played to par or better
- 5th hole – Par 4 – 362 yds – stroke 1
- 2 birdies, 10 par’s, 12 bogeys, 7 D bogies & 5 worse.

Matt just missed out on the top spot by a BB9.
