GBT2023 Tour Unveils Davenport Golf Club: A Day of Triumph and Networking 🏌️♂️⛳️
The GBT2023 Tour recently made its debut at the picturesque Davenport Golf Club, marking an exciting chapter in our golf and business journey. This exceptional venue, known for its stunning greens and challenging fairways, provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with friendly competition and fruitful networking.
As you can see from the pictures we had a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky. Perfect golf weather.
The scoring stats for the day:
• Highest score 35pts
• Lowest score 16pts
• Average 27pts
• Captains Prize 14th hole – Par 3 – 183yds – stroke 10
– 14th Hole Stats: 0 birdies, 4 par’s, 18 bogeys, 5 D bogies & 1 worse.
DAVENPORT GBT2023 WINNERS
Winner: Tommy Cocking (Pulse Project Solutions) – 35Pts
A very strong round of golf by Tommy that could have been a lot better than the 35pts with three blobs on the front nine.
A beaten finalist in 2022 I’m sure Tommy will be wanting to go one better this year.

Runner-Up: Steve Critchley (SC Investments) – 35 Pts
Steve is in a rich vein of form at the moment and if he had converted his put on the last he would have taken the win! I think I could safely say he’s aiming at the final for GBT2023 Tour.
Carry on like you are Steve, the model of consistency and another trip to the finals will be on the cards.

Special Prize Winner Beat the Founder: Eddie Frost
We must extend our heartfelt gratitude to Captain Bob McGowan, who warmly greeted every group at Davenport, fostering a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship among our participants.
Bob’s generosity was also evident in his contribution of a coveted fourball prize to visit Davenport once again.
The decision was to add a beat the founder on the 14th Par 3 193 yards, 7 Members were closer than Mark and Eddie Frost was drawn out of the hat by the sponsor Steve Sewell.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome GBT Ambassador and renowned actor Alan Halsall, best known for his role on Coronation Street, to the Davenport event.
Not only did Alan grace us with his presence, but he also showcased his exceptional golfing skills, securing two nearest the pin prizes and finishing an impressive 3rd overall.
Alan’s dedication to the sport and commitment to our network is truly inspiring.
