Welcome to the results page for the GBT2024 Bramall event our tenth stop on the tour!
I hope you’re all making the most of this extended summer we’re blessed with! I’m thrilled to bring you the results from our fantastic day at Bramall Park Golf Club, a course that truly lived up to its historic reputation.
Bramall Park, nestled in the heart of Cheshire, has been testing golfers since 1894 and was masterfully redesigned by the legendary Alistair Mackenzie in 1921. With its beautiful undulating fairways, mature native trees, and tricky greens, it’s no wonder the course continues to challenge even the best of us. Yesterday was no exception, offering us a beautifully manicured yet challenging experience that kept everyone on their toes.
The front nine might have given us a false sense of security, but once we turned the corner, the back nine showed its true colours—taking no prisoners and making sure no scorecard was safe! And let’s not forget the Par 3s, which were, of course, conquered by our “Par 3 King,” Martin Rayner, who now seems to have a whole forest of GBT winner mugs.

Overall, it was another perfect day on the GBT Tour, and a big shout-out is in order for Steve Sewell at SSEP Ltd., who kindly sponsored the event. Steve is a former champ and a founding member of the GBT tour—thanks for all your support over the last decade, Steve!
As we head into the final three events of the GBT 2024 tour, the competition is heating up! The results from Bramall Park have certainly shaken things up in the Order of Merit (OOM), and the updated league standings will be sent out next week. Who will rise to the occasion, and who might just slip down the leaderboard? It’s anyone’s game at this point, and we’re in for a thrilling run to the finish!
Don’t forget, our next event is at the stunning Hesketh Golf Club on Thursday, 29th August. Be sure to book early to secure your spot—this is one you won’t want to miss!
GBT2024 Bramall Winners:
Winner: 🥇 David Griffin (Release My Equity) – 38 Points (BB3)
A welcome return to form for the ever-present DG. David is no stranger to a GBT podium finish, and he earned every bit of his win today with a brilliant 73 gross. Congratulations, DG—top performance!
Runner Up: 🥈 Danny Parker – (Seven Seven) – 38 Points (BB9)
Danny was just edged out on the countback, but what a round! With this result, he’s certainly climbing the OOM and could be the dark horse to watch come October at Worsley Park. Great job, Danny!
Third Place: 🥉 Martin Rayner (Wilds) – 38 Pts
The Par 3 King strikes again! Martin is muscling his way into the top four on the OOM. Chris and Steve might want to keep an eye out because Martin is on the move! Well played, Martin!
Guest Winner: 🌟 Steve Duffy – 34 Points
A solid round from Steve today, who was pushed all the way by Paul and Nick. He managed to edge them out with a strong 19 points on the back nine. Congrats, Steve!
