Step into the heart of the action at the Bolton Old Links Golf Club, where our sixth GBT2024 tour event unfolded in spectacular fashion.

Known for its challenging layout designed by the legendary Alister MacKenzie, this course never fails to impress. As the highest course on our tour this season, it offered breathtaking views and even more breathtaking challenges.

The course, with its two contrasting loops of nine, provided a true test of stamina and skill. The lush fairways, penalising rough, and tricky greens ensured that every swing was earned.

Let’s not forget the infamous 12th hole – the highest point on the course, offering panoramic views of the surrounding counties that were as beautiful as they were distracting!

Despite the strong winds that kept everyone on their toes (and their golf balls moving in unpredictable directions), our members and guests showcased incredible talent and sportsmanship.

The day was filled with fantastic performances, hilarious moments, and a lot of friendly banter – exactly what GBT events are all about.

A special shoutout goes to our event sponsor, Teknobu, for not only providing an excellent prize table but also spicing up the event with their AI-driven Teknobu Tiger. Members had a blast getting real-time advice on tackling Bolton Old Links, adding a high-tech twist to their game strategies.
