Recently retired from In Pure Technology Group – Steve is now involved in supporting charities and other businesses.
But most of his energy is now on the golf course, GBT Founder member and tour finalist 2019 and 2021.
Steve strives to be the best, to always improve.
Having played for years with GBT it's been a great platform for networking and meeting like minded business people. For any newcomers here are a few people to watch out for:-
Dave Griffin- great golfer unless 'cooking lager' is involved.
Mike Lythgoe- when playing with Mike, swap golf shoes for running spikes, his main focus is not getting pars and birdies, just need to get round in under two and a half hours.
Mark Ball- Tallest man in golf ! hits it a long way, sometimes, mainly in wrong direction.
Simon Whittle- Cool character, smooth operator.
Tim Roberts- lovely bloke, very helpful, not bad for a southerner !!!!
Steve Sewell- Serious man, well he was until he won something, now much more chilled.
Mike Pich- Statto, often seen wearing a stupid hat, thinks he's Crocodile Dundee
Jim Gillibrand- Top man, good humour, great company.
Shahid Shafiq- Another nice man to play golf with, steady golfer.
Ross Taylor, aka Bambino- Not as good as he thinks he is, no sense of humour, big hitter-with the women ( in his own head), another shandy drinker.
Matt Watts- Only allowed on the GBT days because he sponsors the events, can't drink for toffee.
Chris Taylor, true Gentleman, everyone loves his Company, unlike his son.
Mark Brown- Dickhead ! No other words needed, everyone agrees !
