Occupying around 100 acres of the Tame valley, Reddish Vale Golf Club unusually has 7 holes in Lancashire and 11 in Cheshire. This is due to it being divided by the river Tame which winds through the course.
Founded in 1912, the par 69 course is somewhat unconventional with four of the five par 3’s on the scorecard played on the front nine. Reddish Vale was designed in 1912 by the World famous golf course architect Dr Alister MacKenzie and is the most interesting and spectacular golf course in the whole Manchester area. The layout attracts attention and reviews from leading course architects worldwide including Tom Doak.
